Cookie & Cache Policy
Learn how SuperQR by Pogakulas utilizes HTTP cookies, browser cache, local storage, and session tokens to deliver an instantaneous, secure, and personalized dining experience on all devices.
1. What are Cookies and Browser Cache?
Cookies are small alphanumeric text files stored on your phone or computer by your web browser when visiting websites. They remember your active session, login credentials, and security permissions.
Browser Cache (HTTP Web Caching) temporarily stores static assets (such as restaurant logos, menu item photos, icons, and layout stylesheets) locally on your device so that subsequent page visits and QR scans load in milliseconds without consuming mobile data.
HTML5 Local Storage & Session Storage allow our web application to remember your table order cart items during your dining visit even if your mobile screen turns off or refreshes.
2. How We Use Cookies & Caching
We classify the cookies and storage mechanisms used on SuperQR into four clear categories:
Strictly Necessary Cookies
Essential for user authentication, CSRF cross-site request forgery prevention (`XSRF-TOKEN`), and securing your merchant/customer session (`laravel_session`). The platform cannot function securely without these.
High-Speed CDN Asset Cache
Caches menu item photographs, font assets, and QR code SVG graphics via local HTTP cache headers. This reduces data consumption by up to 80% when customers browse multi-category restaurant menus.
Dining & Cart State (Local Storage)
Temporarily holds the dishes you have added to your dining order along with your table number until you tap "Confirm Order", ensuring no food selections are lost during temporary internet drops.
Anti-Fraud Security Cache
Temporarily limits rapid repeated cashier PIN attempts or stamp scans from the same IP/device to safeguard merchants against automated visit falsification.
3. Third-Party Integrations & Cookies
When you click through to review a business on Google Maps, Justdial, or complete an online subscription payment via UPI / Razorpay, those third-party providers may set their own cookies according to their independent privacy policies:
- Google LLC: Used when redirecting customers to Google Business Profiles to submit 5-star reviews on Google Maps.
- Razorpay / Bank UPI: Used in secure payment frames to prevent fraudulent payment processing.
4. How to Manage or Clear Your Cache & Cookies
You have complete control over whether cookies and cached files are stored on your device. You can clear or block cookies at any time via your browser settings:
Notice: Disabling essential session cookies may prevent you from logging into your merchant dashboard or viewing your active stamp cards.
